Jim Tibbs

Roots are very important to me. My Chicago-born mother was an artist and my father was a horse and cattle rancher born in Sheridan, Montana. Drawing from her flamboyance and artistic ilk and his propensity for the practical lent naturally to my career choice of architecture. A native of the northwest, I am naturally drawn to the outdoors and regularly engage in such activities as hiking, biking and hang gliding and reconnoitering roads less traveled. When not hoofing, pedaling, exploring or climbing air currents, I enjoy drawing, painting, writing and building stuff. My architectural style draws also from my Northwest nativity, ranging from traditional to contemporary and points between.
