CDA and Perkins & Will Architects team-up for Medford Parks and Recreation’s Rogue X Community Complex
As the local architectural consultants, CDA supported the development of Medford’s long awaited community sports complex. The facility features a 34,800-SF natatorium and a 112,200-SF multi-use event center—large enough to house eight basketball courts—along with central circulation and core support facilities.
Rogue X is Medford’s premier recreation and event destination:
Designed to bring community and recreation together under one roof, Rogue X represents years of vision and planning—approved by City Council in 2018, financed in 2020, and brought to life through construction beginning in 2022. The complex officially opened to the public in January 2024 as a hub for sporting events, and family fun. The communities response has far exceeded expectations.

- Features a 76,000-square-foot multipurpose event center with:
- an indoor recreation pool with two thrilling water slides,
- and a 13-lane competition pool ideal for regional meets and training
- classrooms
- a seasonal outdoor splash pad
